"I do not ask the wounded person how he feels, I myself become the wounded person." - Walt Whitman
It is what we all are...until we aren't, and the path from one to another is a process if it is to be of value or meaningful. We may have yet to meet, talk, or share in any way, but my heart beats for the potential, purpose, and promise before us. I am a man of passion and imagination, who writes to uplift, and fearlessly loves in order to empower. Coming to prison at a young age, I struggled to find myself, and after a life of trauma it wasn't easy. Investing in my personal development, I wanted to be a man worth knowing, caring about, and trusting. Advocating for survivors of abuse, seeking reforms for those under 21 with life without, and helping others find hope are my causes. I am looking for fellow advocates, professionals, mentors, and those committed to finding purpose in painful experiences. People who live their stories, write them in awareness of the impact, and refuse to be less than their full measure. Individuals that long to make a difference in another's life that they can see, measure, and be proud of. Due to mail restrictions, I would like to email through Access Corrections, at the ADC.gov website. Legal information about my case is available at www.HeathStocks.info. No matter where you are from, what you look like, or the culture that helped shape you. I crave real, lasting, empathetic, meaningful connections."
